Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.


  1. Release the wedge nut.
    1. NOTE: Typical application shown.

      Loosen the wedge screw 6 turns.
      Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
    1. Press the wedge screw inward to release the wedge nut.
  1. NOTE: Typical application shown.

    Remove the wedge screw.
  1. NOTE: Typical application shown.


    Position the spot lamp handle off the spot lamp shaft.
    1. Remove the wedge nut.
    1. NOTE: To install, make sure the wedge nut aligns with the keyway on the spotlamp shaft.

      Slide the spot lamp handle off the spot lamp shaft.
  1. NOTE: Typical application shown.


    Remove the spot lamp head assembly.
    1. Loosen the set screw.
    1. Slide the spot lamp head assembly out of the spot lamp mount.

    Remove the spot lamp shaft collar and grommet.
    1. Loosen the spot lamp shaft collar set screw.
    1. Slide the spot lamp shaft collar and grommet off the spot lamp base.
  1. NOTE: Typical application shown.


    Remove the A-pillar trim panel.
    1. Position the A-pillar interior trim panel aside.
    1. Disconnect the spot lamp handle electrical connector.
    1. Slide the spot lamp handle wiring through the A-pillar interior trim panel.

  1. Remove the spot lamp base.
    1. Remove the spot lamp base screws.
    1. Slide the spot lamp base out of the A-pillar.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
