Ford Explorer: Collision Warning and Collision Avoidance System / Description and Operation - Collision Warning and Collision Avoidance System - Overview
Overview
The
forward collision warning system alerts the driver of a collision risk
by illuminating the red warning indicator located in the IPC information center. The IPC sends a request to the ACM to sound an audible warning chime.
