Remove the pin-type retainer.

Release the clips and remove the rear scuff plate trim panel.

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Inspect and position the rear door weather strip lip so
that it overlaps the top of the rear scuff plate trim panel.

Remove the rear bumper cover.
Refer to: Rear Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
If equipped.
Position aside the connector shields.
Remove the rear parking aid sensor...
