Removal

  1. Lower the headliner.
    Refer to: Headliner - Lowering (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  1. Disconnect the antenna connector.

  1. Remove the roof mounted antenna.
    1. Remove the bolt.
    1. Remove the retainer.

Installation

  1. NOTE: If installing a new roof mounted antenna it is not necessary to remove the bolt from the new roof mounted antenna base.

    Install harness through the opening and push down until the base is fully seated.
  1. Connect the antenna connector.
  1. Install the headliner.
    Refer to: Headliner - Lowering (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
